NHS MJVB Soccer falls short to a well-matched KUA.
The 2025 season opened with a highly anticipated matchup against the always-game KUA. Knowing that we would be faced with a physical and athletic group of Wildcats, the Huskies knew that sound defense and timely offense would be the key. The teams were well-matched on the field, with each having several scoring opportunities throughout. It was KUA who scored the first goal, but a strong strike by returning player and team co-captain Jeffrey Joyce '28 tied up the score with less than 10 minutes to play. The wear and tear of a long match began to show as KUA surged for a goal with very little time to play, leading to a final score of 2-1. We look forward to getting this one back against KUA when they come to New Hampton on 11/8 to close the season, but for now, we have our eyes set on making key adjustments on 9/17 at the Cardigan Mountain School Jamboree!
