Senior Night Success

The day started with a celebration of the team's found amazing senior skaters and one senior team manager. It was wonderful to have family and friends in attendance as we recognized Teddy Brown '26 (mgr), Molly Marshall '26 and tri-captains Estelle Jennings '26, Jocelyn Smith '26 and Callie Paquette '26.  As the Huskies then took to the ice, Paquette quickly put the team on the board 1-0. Jennings followed with her first of two goals on the night and the first period ended with the Huskies ahead 2-0. As the second period got underway,  Helen Xu '28 and Emma Labre '27 each added a goal putting the Huskies up 4-0 before KUA finally found the back of the net to make it 4-1.  Labre added another tally for her second goal of the game, and again KUA answered, making score 5-2. As time expired in the second period, Paquette found the back of the net one more time with just one second remaining on the clock. In the third period Xu put the Huskies ahead 7-2 with 7 minutes left in the game.  KUA was able to slip one past the Husky defense at the 2 minute mark of the third and brought the score to 7-3.  With just 1 minute left in the game on senior night, Jennings netted her second goal of the contest and the Huskies won the game 8-3.  Sarah Pollard '27 was once again brilliant in net, stopping breakaways, covering rebounds and preserving the Husky win. Husky of the game went to Estelle Jennings for her 2 goal performance on Senior Night!
