In front of a huge home crowd at Jacobsen Arena, the Huskies outpaced Holderness 7-3 to move to 5-0 on the season. Holderness opened the scoring quickly in the first period taking an early 1-0 lead. New Hampton answered back when a shot from Helen Xu '28 went off a defenders leg and found the back of the net, tying the game at 1. Emma Labre '27 put the Huskies ahead 2-1 early in the second period with a beautiful high wrist shot. Holderness answered less than a minute later with a goal of their own. Xu would put the Huskies back in the lead with her second goal of the contest. Once again, Holderness answered back and the game was ties 3-3 heading into the locker room for the resurfacing break. Well rested and ready to seal the victory, the Huskies came out firing in the second half of the game and scored four unanswered goals to claim the 7-3 victory. Senior captain Callie Paquette '26 scored the game winner as time was running out in the second period. Xu then started the third period by completing her hat trick. Paquette followed with her second goal of the game and Xu then finished the scoring at the 5:00 minute mark of the third period to close out the game. The team's defense looked strong as they shut down holderness for the entire second half of the game. Junior Roberta Scott '27 was solid on the blue line and 9th grader Chloe Sabin '29 earned Husky of the game for her strong play in both ends and some great offensive chances.
