Huskies Show Grit in Rainy Loss to Milton

Once again facing a tough and talented Tilton team, the Huskies showed grit and determination, pushing the Rams to a full 7 innings. Michaela Mercier, Aniyaha Perez, Luna McCulloch, and substitute Shannon Oleary played a great game in the outfield. Pitchers Liv Sabin and Ellie Zink both turned in excellent performances, and first baseman Abby Schrader had the Huskies' lone hit. Tilton's pitcher was once again strong, going the full 7 innings in a shutout. Despite the loss, the Huskies continue to improve in the field and in their teamwork and connectedness. This was a loss with real highlights, and a game of which the team should be proud.
