Huskies Break Through in First Win

Everything came together today for the Huskies, and they took home their first win in a rematch with Brewster. The first two innings were back and forth, with New Hampton going up 1-0 in the first, and Brewster answering 2-1 in the bottom of the frame. In the second, New Hampton again struck, going back up 4-2. Brewster once again drew near, getting it to 5-4, but that was the last time they would hold the lead. A huge triple by Abby Schrader broke it open in the top of the third, and New Hampton took a commanding 8-4 lead. Liv Sabin threw 5 strong innings, and when the final Brewster hitter watched strike three, the Huskies had their much deserved first win of the season.
