Huskies Compete Against Top Team

The final score of this one does not do justice to the effort with which the Huskies competed. Facing perhaps the top team in the Lakes Region, the Huskies went 6 strong innings and scored 4 earned runs off of a combination of hits, steals, and timely bunts. Going into the 6th inning, it was a 13-4 game, and New Hampton played solid softball throughout. Although it was a loss, this marked a real step forward in the development of the team.
