Huskies Lose Early Lead in Road Loss

Tim Tracy
New Hampton jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the top of the first, including a big inside-the-park home run by Adriana Hernandez. But Holderness' offense was just too much, scoring 13 in the bottom of the first. That was all the offense they needed, as New Hampton could score only 5 more through the next 4 innings. Pitcher Ellie Zink threw in place of usual starter Liv Sabin, and she battled all game. Several Huskies hit well, including Abby Schrader, Izzy Chadwick, and Riley Proulx.
