Huskies Run Out of Daylight in Home Loss

This was a close battle all game. A Brewster home run put them up 3-0, but New Hampton quickly battled back to tie. Big hits by Riley Proulx and Liv Sabin kept the Huskies in the game. Going into the 5th inning, it was 6-5 Brewster, but starting pitched Liv Sabin came out, and Brewster struck quickly, making it 16-5. After New Hampton got 3 back on a flurry of hits, including a drive by Abby Schrader, the umpired ended the game after 6 for darkness, and Brewster walked away with a 16-8 victory.
