The Huskies hit the road for an away match against Beaver Country Day on Wednesday afternoon in the rain.
After the long drive, New Hampton came out of the gates slowly but managed to put a goal on the board off of a Heidi Smith corner that Addy Peel converted for a one-time finish past the Beaver Country Day goalkeeper. The two sides would then go into the half with the score at 1-0 and both teams looking to find a rhythm in the second half.
The Huskies would come out from the break much stronger as they looked to increase their lead. Eventually, an Emma Labrie free kick from the edge of the penalty area would double the lead. Then to close out the half, a Fia Swormstedt throw would find Labrie who chipped the ball over her defender before volleying home the right-footed shot to end the scoring at 3-0.
Danika Virgin kept her fourth shutout of the year behind strong and steady defensive play.
