The Huskies overcame a difficult first half that saw them looking to find their rhythm to take home a 1-0 win at Holderness. The first half saw New Hampton defending the Holderness counterattack well through the efforts of Zuri Jimenez '28 in the midfield, the backline, and Danika Virgin '26 in net, who would earn her fifth shutout and the team's seventh of the season.
Coming back out for the second half, New Hampton found their rhythm and managed to play to turn play to their advantage with attacking play down both flanks and through the center of the pitch. While frequent forays forward would threaten the Holderness goal, it was the eventual combination of a Kaylie Reeve '26 pass to Adriana Hernandez '25 who would put the initial shot on net that Ava Perry '27 would pounce on to score her third goal of the season.
The Huskies hit the road again on Wednesday for a Lakes Region matchup at Brewster Academy. Livestream info can be found on the Brewster Academy athletics page.
