Breast Cancer Awareness Game

The Huskies opened the game against Holderness with an early penalty in the first half, Julia Gomes Pires de Campos put us on the scoreboard with a confidently taken penalty kick. The opportunity came after a handball call in the box, and Julia placed the ball smoothly to the right of the goalkeeper, giving us a 1-0 lead.
Holderness responded and managed to score before halftime, tying the score 1-1. They carried that momentum into the second half, capitalizing on a chance to go ahead 2-1.
Despite trailing, our team came out strong in the second half. The breakthrough came when Will Lindow found space on a breakaway scored, keeping us in the game and earning us a draw at 2-2.
