KUA Holds off Huskies at Home
NEW HAMPTON, NH --
The huskies welcomed KUA for a matchup at home. However, KUA proved to be a difficult opponent, not letting up in any aspect. The huskies fought a tough battle and never gave up. KUA opened the scoring for the game, and then adding to their lead shortly after. Phoebe scored her first husky goal to cut the lead in half. Then, Helen scored a great goal, which brought the energy back up, and tied the game at 2. Liv and Jocelyn showed great resilience at midfield, while Vale made excellent passes and brought a lot of energy. Rowena was a strong forward, and Zoe had great middy runs as she jumped into the play. Ripley had great energy throughout the whole game and Catie was really fast moving up and down through the field. KUA Scored the go ahead goal late off of a PK kick due to a handball in the box. Tough way to end the game, but the huskies will prevail.
