The Men’s Varsity B Hockey Team had a tough battle versus a strong opponent in Cushing Academy on Saturday. The game started in a scoreless back and forth matchup for a large portion of the 1st period. Jeffrey Joyce played a large role in keeping the huskies alive as he faced a large number of shots throughout the game making many key saves. Cushing soon capitalized on some penalties throughout the game turning the score to 3-0 quickly.
The Huskies did not go away as Eli Palowich scored the lone Husky goal of the contest after a relentless forecheck.
As the game went on Cushing continued their scoring streak for a final score of 6-1.
The Huskies will have a week to rest leading into their next game on Friday versus Kimball Union Academy.
