Huskies Fall in Late Cougar Comeback

New Hampton scored two early touchdowns to take a 14-point lead in the first half. The Huskies would add two more in the third quarter to run the lead to 28 - 7. The 4th quarter would be marred by penalties and misfortune that the Cougars would capitalize on. They would go on to score 24 points to take the lead with 2 minutes remaining in the game. Ethan Middleton would finish the game with 3 touchdowns and 286 all-purpose yards. The defense was led by Jack Hashem who had two sacks and Jayden Terrell who had numerous pass-defense plays against a strong passing attack. New Hampton will have a quick turnaround this week and play Pingree School away on Thursday evening.
