A sunny, chilly competition at KUA

The Vermont Academy race was held at Kimball Union Academy (KUA). It was a chilly, but also sunny October day. The course had a difficult section involving multiple hills, but our runners tackled this challenge with determination and a positive attitude. The girls scored third overall and the boys were 7th! Coach Henry and I are also proud of the individual performances. Notably, Sol Anderson placed 7th in the girls' category! Furthermore, it was evident that everyone put forth a good effort and continued to grow as runners. It was especially nice to see their hustle and last-minute push as they crossed the finish line. John Freeborn passed an opponent at the last moment! So exciting! The team will have a few well-deserved days of rest over the long weekend before competing at Franklin Falls - Tilton's course - on Wednesday.
