Since the beginning of the season, returning runners warned our new members of the tough, hilly Cardigan course. They remembered a hot and humid day slogging up the hills last season. However, this year the Husky runners surprised themselves. The weather was indeed kinder to us. It was a nice cool and sunny day. Most of the team improved their times and everyone agreed the course was really not that hard! Coach Henry and I know the weather was only a small factor at play here. The runners were ready to meet the challenge because they took hill workouts seriously and have become stronger since the beginning of the season. We are excited to see what they can achieve in the upcoming races!
