WJV Hoops Wins Tight Game Against Rectory

The WJV hoops team won a close game against a gritty and disciplined Rectory team. After building a lead through the first three quarters, New Hampton allowed Rectory to get within two in the final minutes. Timely buckets by Daniella Vinagro and Kristen Vinagro helped push the lead back to 6, and the Huskies finished with strong passing and good shots to put away the game. Brooke King and Taylor Smith hit big threes, and Heidi Smith hit a thrilling buzzer beater at the end of the third quarter to keep momentum going. Kristen Vinagro wins player of the game.
