Huskies Fall in Close Battle with Tilton, 52-60.

The Huskies made the short trip to Tilton on Wednesday for a classic AAA/Lakes Region League showdown. New Hampton held a slim 15–14 advantage after the first quarter, but four three-pointers by the Rams swung momentum and left the Huskies trailing by five at halftime. Serenity Lancaster and Ava Perry paced the offense early, scoring nine and eight points respectively.

Offensive rebounding and putbacks kept New Hampton within striking distance despite Tilton’s hot shooting from behind the arc. Down seven late in the fourth quarter (52–59), the Huskies generated quality looks, but shots refused to fall.

Casey Stores and Kailey Sullivan connected from deep in the second half, while Elyse Ngenda caught fire, scoring eight of her 10 points after the break. Lancaster led all scorers with a double-double, finishing with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

New Hampton falls to 10–4 and will shift its focus to Nobles, whom they host on January 31.
