Huskies Battle Bobcats in League Play

New Hampton held Brewster to single-digits in each quarter of tonight's Lakes Region League match-up. Serenity Lancaster dominated the paint in the first half netting 14 points with a 4-for-4 performance from the free throw line. Casey Stores, Tahlia Pena, and Elyse Ngenda hit 3's, while Kitt Jones, Adriana Hernandez, and Ava Perry provided the defensive spark needed to give the Huskies a 35-18 lead at the half.

Pena and Stores remained hot from behind the arc in the third quarter, each finishing the game in double-figures with 11 and 10 points respectively. The Huskies had 4 players in double-figures for the first time this season. Lancaster had a game-high 18 points while Ngenda netted 11 and pulled down 7 rebounds.

Shannon O'Leary contributed 6 points and 5 rebounds. Hernandez grabbed 4 rebounds, dished 2 assists, and had 4 steals and a bucket. She also drew her 4th offensive charge of the season. Perry played with a purpose and finished the game with 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal.
