Despite playing at home, New Hampton struggled from the floor and the foul line in the first half of today's game with Tilton. The Huskies started to heat up in the second half and found themselves trailing by just 5 points in the 4th quarter. However, Tilton went on another run and with time running out, the Huskies were forced to foul.
Tahlia Pena '25 drove the lane with confidence and finished with 12 points. Serenity Lancaster was active in the post drawing fouls and netting 11 points. She also pulled down 9 rebounds. Elyse Ngenda was the third Husky in double-figures with a team-high 17 points (7 rebounds). Casey Stores (6pts) was a spark plug off the bench for New Hampton and worked hard on both ends of the court.
The Huskies host NEPSAC AAA League opponent Hoosac at home on Saturday. Tip-off is 2pm.
