NHS Finishes 3-0 at the She Got Game Classic

The Huskies drew a 9am tip-off against Spire Academy (OH) on the final day of the She Got Game Classic in Washington DC. Spire gained an early 2-9 advantage, but NHS took the lead for good in the 2nd quarter and held on for a 59-49 win over a scrappy and determined opponent.

Serenity Lancaster '26 had an impressive stat line today (20 pts., 12 reb, 3 ast, 2 stl, 2 blk) and was named Tournament MVP for her efforts throughout the weekend. Sophomore Casey Stores continued her hot streak from beyond the arc knocking down 4 triples today. Also finishing in double figures was Ava Perry '27 with 14, including a 4-for-4 performance from the free throw line. Junior Elyse Ngenda chipped in with 9 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals. 

Sophomore Shannon O'Leary played physical today while guarding a UVM-bound player. She had 2 key buckets and boxed out well. 

The Huskies head back to New Hampshire with a 5-0 record. The team will be in exam period this week and will resume play on Friday when they travel to Noble & Greenough School to play in their annual holiday tournament.
