New Hampton headed east on Friday evening for a MAISAD matchup with Hebron Academy.
From the outset, New Hampton was able to run in transition and build a quick advantage. After a Bruce Fa basket started the scoring, a pair of Beau Millar and-one layups, and threes by Jett Sizer and Jasper Bias-Derry pushed the lead to 17-1, and New Hampton would roll from there.
In the second half, the Huskies opened with a nearly 4-minute drought on offense, but the defense was solid enough to maintain the lead. The New Hampton bench poured in points in the second half, with Henry Timbrell leading all scorers with 17.
New Hampton would go on to win 81-27, and they now return home to face Hebron for their second league matchup next Wednesday, a game that marks Senior Night for the Huskies.
