New Hampton entered the second half of their home-and-away against Bradford Christian Academy with one goal: improve the defensive effort. After giving up 58 points to the Sentinels last weekend, the Huskies were out to limit Bradford's three point attack. The team answered the call, holding BCA to 15 at halftime and 33 overall for the game. Every Husky to enter the game scored, a testament to the unselfish play on the floor. Kieran Sullivan led all scorers with 15, but it was a team effort. Bruce Fa added 11, and the guard trio of Sarp Oskan, Jackson Flanders, and Ian Monteiro do Amaral chipped in 8 apiece. This is a big week for the Varsity B Huskies, as they look to go 3-0 on the week and move over .500 on the season. The Huskies hit the hardwood at home this Friday evening in a matinee matchup against Hebron Academy at 4:30.
