Huskies extend win streak to 4.

The Huskies traveled down to Stoughton, MA for their annual trip to the Zero Gravity Prep Classic. We took on Phelps School, a high level program from Malvern, PA.

We got off to a fast start, drilling a 3 on the first possession of the game. Over the course of the first half we stayed hot from behind the 3-point line, drilling 8 first half 3's. We also executed well in our base ball screen offense. When that wasn't working, we were able to clean the offensive glass up.

In the second half, it was more of the same. We executed well offensively, started to tighten up on the defensive end, and applied pressure on the rim in transition. There was a stretch in the second half where we forced turnovers on inbounds and on rebounding opportunities. We extended the lead above 20 with 17 minutes to go and never looked back.

We had great contributions all over the place: Stetson Merritt (25 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal), Wesley Waddles: (21 points 7-8 from 3, 4 rebounds, 1 assists, 1 steal, 1 block), Edison Onwe (18 points, 5 rebounds), Chad Cook (14 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal), Griffin Sward (10 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist).
