New Hampton improved to 21-3 on the season with a win over St. Paul's. In the first half, the huskies were executing their offense, but not playing with the right intensity or pace. St. Paul's was getting to their spots and went on a 4-0 run in the final 20 seconds to cut the lead to 9 at the half.
In the second half, the Huskies exploded and started playing at a much faster pace, which wore down the Pelicans. We started to dig hard in driving lanes, which forced turnovers and led to easy buckets. The ball was zipping around and the extra pass was being made.
New Hampton had 4 guys in double figures: Keyshuan Tillery (24 points, 7 assists, 8 rebounds), Nasir Meyer (22 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists), Mason Blackwood (17 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists), Jayden Harrington (13 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists).
