Huskies Move to 6-1 in AAA

The Huskies avenged their earlier season loss to AAA rival Newman. In the first half, it was a back and forth contest with each team swapping buckets. New Hampton made a lot of 3's early, but struggled to guard the paint.

 

In the second half, New Hampton jumped on Newman early and didn't look back. The Huskies forced several turnovers that led to run outs and highlight plays. Our defensive execution was excellent and we controlled the momentum of the game.

 

We had 4 in double figures: Keyshuan Tillery (20 points, 5 assists, 3 steals and 3 rebounds), Naz Meyer (20 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assists, 1 block), Chad Cook (14 points, 6 assists, 2 steals, 1 block), Mason Blackwood (14 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals). Ty Tabales also had 9 big second half points, and Gus Fried made huge team plays. It was a great team win!
