Huskies Hold of St. Paul's to Remain Undefeated in Lakes' Region Play

NEW HAMPTON, NH --

The huskies continued at home with a game against Lakes' Region opponent, St. Paul's School. Any game against St. Paul's tends to be an evenly matched game, and this one did not disappoint. The huskies started the game very strong, dominating possession and creating chances. The huskies buried an early goal to take a 1-0 lead off a beautiful shot from Addy Peel '26 entering the offensive zone. Goaltender Elizabeth Vincent '27 stayed perfect throughput the first, answering each of St. Paul's chances. The huskies continued their strong play to start the second, and added to their lead to make it 2-0 with Trinity Walsh's '25 beautiful breakaway goal off a stretch pass from Kennedy Walker '25 and goaltender Elizabeth Vincent '27. However, St. Paul's gained some steam and capitalized on huskies' mistakes in the defensive zone, and ultimately tying the game at 2 to end the period. The huskies figured it out in the third, but only after St. Paul's took a 3-2 lead early on in the period. Kelsey Baker '26 had an amazing effort on the PK and her pressure opened up the ice for Kennedy Walker '25 to tie the game at 3. Shortly after, Kennedy Walker '25 scored the go ahead goal to regain the lead 4-3. Goaltender Elizabeth Vincent '27 continued to play well and kept St. Paul's off the board and held on for a 4-3 win.
