Kennedy Walker '25 Records 100th Point, but Huskies No Match for Andover
NEW HAMPTON, NH --
The huskies were excited for a challenge in their game against a top 4 New England team, Andover. Both teams started well, with Andover having the edge in possession. The huskies had their time in the offensive zone, but they struggled to get shots through. Andover took an early 1-0 lead in the first, but the huskies answered quickly to tie the game from one touch shot from Kelsey Baker '26 off a beautiful centering pass from KK Michaud-Nolan '25. However, Andover continued to push the huskies and regained the lead shortly after the huskies' tying goal, and added another goal to end the period 3-1. the huskies would not back down however, and continued to push the play, but Andover kept coming hard and scored a short handed 5-on-3 goal to take a commanding 4-1 lead, and eventually a 5-1 lead after the second. The huskies did not back down, and fought hard in the third, with husky goaltender Elizabeth Vincent '27 playing lights out for the third. Kennedy Walker '25 scored off a laser of a shot to record her 100th career point as a husky. 5-2 final.
