The huskies home for a game against their New England Rivals, Cushing Academy. The huskies game against Cushing never disappoints, and this one was a pretty even matchup, with the huskies outplaying Cushing for most of the game. It was a battle of the goaltenders, and Elizabeth Vincent '27 held her own against a strong Cushing offense. Cushing took a 1-0 lead early in the first, but the huskies dominated the offensive zone. The Cushing goaltender had some help from her posts as the huskies were trying for the tying goal. The second period started off with the huskies dominating possession for minutes in the Cushing zone, not allowing Cushing to line change, but the huskies continued to be unlucky with burying their chances. Husky goalie, Elizabeth Vincent, continued to play well and kept Cushing from adding to their lead. The huskies continued their dominance in the third with a hard push to tie the game. KK Michaud-Nolan '25 finally broke through to tie the game on a beautiful shot. The huskies were close to scoring the go ahead, but continued to hit the posts. OT was very back and forth, but no one was the hero, so the game ended 1-1.
