    JV-A Basketball aims to combine skills, fundamentals, and competition to create a positive environment for young student-athletes looking to improve and grow as basketball players. Practices will be based on fundamentals and skill development while games will focus on teamwork and sportsmanship.

  • Huskies Beat Bobcats

    The Huskies earned a convincing 58–29 win in a well-rounded team effort. The opening minutes of the first half were back and forth, with both teams trading baskets and energy. Midway through the first half, the Huskies began to find their rhythm on both ends of the floor, gradually pulling away and taking a 31–19 lead into halftime.

    Balanced scoring proved to be the difference, as nine of the team’s ten players found their way into the scoring column. Asher led the way with 20 points, while Conor added 12 points to provide a strong offensive boost. Jackson controlled the boards, setting the tone with his presence in the paint and helping limit second-chance opportunities.

    The Huskies continued to build their lead in the second half, relying on strong defense, unselfish offense, and consistent effort from everyone on the floor. It was another complete team performance as the Huskies head into winter break with a 2–1 overall record.

  • Huskies Fall to Hornets

    The Huskies hit the road to take on the Hornets at Proctor Academy for their second game of the season. It was a tough night as the team lost 57–17 after a slow start proved too much to overcome. The Hornets came out firing, opening the game on a 15–0 run and setting the tone early. A lack of energy and effort in the opening half put the team in a deep hole heading into halftime.

    The second half, however, told a different story. Defensive intensity picked up, execution on offense improved, and the team showed much better focus and competitiveness on both ends of the floor. Despite the final score, the improved effort after the break was a positive takeaway. Asher led the scoring with 15 points, accounting for the majority of the team’s offense.

    The Huskies look to bounce back tomorrow as they take on Brewster Academy at home in what will be their final game before the winter break.

  • Huskies Earn their First Win of the Season

    The Men’s JV A basketball team opened their season at home against Dublin School with a big 47–23 win. The team came out strong from the opening whistle and never looked back, building an early lead and maintaining it throughout the contest. In a true display of balanced offense and a total team effort, every player on the roster scored, with Asher Senor (8 points) and Conor Key (7 points) leading the way. From start to finish, the team’s energy, execution, and unselfish play defined the game.

    The Huskies look to continue their momentum as they travel to Proctor Academy on Friday and host Brewster Academy on Saturday.
