Huskies Win in Fashion, Walk it Off Versus Holderness
It came down to the wire on Saturday, as the Huskies grabbed their first victory of the season in walk-off fashion, beating Holderness 9-8. Entering the bottom on the 7th down two runs 8-6, the Huskies scored three runs to grab the victory. The final run came when Adriana Hernandez '25 earned a walk, scoring Liv Sabin '27 from third.
Luna McCulloch '26 collected 4 hits in 4 at bats, with 2 RBIs on the afternoon. Eva Adams '25 had an outstanding game, also driving in 2 runs. Izabelle Chadwick '27 showed patience at the plate all afternoon, compiling 4 of the team's 14 walks. Next up the Huskies will face Proctor, looking to extend their winning streak.
