Huskies Show Improvement!

The New Hampton Huskies played for pink Saturday against the Holderness Bulls. Huskies came out sporting Pink socks, gems, ribbons and face paint to show their support for Breast Cancer survivors and research. The Bulls and huskies were well matched, but despite the much of the play happening in Bulls territory, the huskies could not net  a ball. First-time 'tender Ryane Dembiec showed great tenacity in the cage, notching 5 saves on the day. Holderness took advantage of opportunities left open by the 'Skies in the circle, but defense led by Senior Captain Emma Morel stayed on high alert. Offensively, the front line had several scoring opportunities but narrowly missed.
