A Rough Start Leaves the Huskies with a Mountain To Climb
The Huskies had a very rough start to our face off against St. Paul’s when we conceded 4 goals in the first 20 minutes of the game. All were fully in our control and mistakes that we made that St. Paul’s were able to capitalize on. From there we began to grow into the game and start to keep more possession, but the score line was still 4-0 at the half. Coming out from halftime we looked much better and more determined to get something from the game, but still had a lapse at the back that resulted in St. Paul’s getting their 5th goal. After some changes moving the line up, the Huskies found a renewed sense of desire and went on to score 3 goals in the last 15 minutes of the game, and there were opportunities to get a couple more. But in the end the Huskies were unable to battle back from being down by 5 initially and the game ended 5-3.
