The Huskies hosted Tilton School today in a senior game recognizing four years of outstanding contributions from Goal Keeper Christian Boisvert-Flanders. It was great to see his family as well as the NHS Facilities Crew there in support of this outstanding young man.
The game was back and forth with lots of competitive play. Both teams had improved since their first match-up. Chase Fitch started the scoring with a stroke of luck. Tyler Reeve scored the next two goals to put the Huskies up 3-0. Then Tilton bounced back tying things up. Griffin Taylor scored the next two goals to put NHS in the lead for the victory. This game was down to the last minute but the Huskies were able to hold on. Tosinmile Odunsi, Sebastian Jones, Trey Farnshworth, and Logan Herrman put great effort into defense for eighty minutes each. Malcolm Churchill, out utility player, demonstrated great strength and control in the center midfield position as well. There are two games left in what has been a memorable season. Go Huskies!
