The snow didn’t deter the Men’s JVA soccer team in this exciting, come-from-behind win at KUA. Tyler Reeve started the scoring with a long shot in the first half to catch the keeper out of position. KUA would go on to score 2 goals, making the score 2-1 with ten minutes to go in the second half. While this was entirely a team effort, Griffin Taylor took the game into his own hands scoring two goals in the last minutes of the game to put the Huskies on top. Tyler Reeve assisted one of the goals with a chip cross and the other was a bounce-around, crash-the-net, knock-in goal. The team worked throughout the entire game to maintain possession, match the physical play of KUA, and generate opportunities. The conditions were wet and cold, with occasional snow but there wasn’t a single complaint from the Huskies. Overall, this was a fun game to watch and be a part of. Go Huskies!
