The huskies travelled down to Exeter, NH to face-off against Phillips Exeter Academy in a NEPSAC matchup. Both teams came out strong, however a good shot caught the huskies off guard, as Exeter takes a 1-0 lead early in the game. The huskies battled back, but struggled to make something happen before Exeter, again, added to their lead to make it 2-0 going into the second. The huskies started the second off better in the second, but continued to struggle in burying their chances. The huskies were awarded a power play, and Reese Luber '25 snuck it five-hole to cut the Exeter lead in half to 2-1. That goal gave the huskies life as they headed into the third. The third period is when the huskies came alive, and doubled their shot count for the game in just one period. Reese Luber '25 again snuck it five-hole to tie the game at 2. The huskies continued to dominate Exeter in the third, but couldn't bury the chances that they had to score the go-ahead goal. The game ended in a tie, so the huskies headed to their 5th overtime period this season. The huskies continued to dominate in the overtime, but also continued to struggle in finishing. The game ends in a hard-fought tie, 2-2.
