Huskies Skate to a 5-0 Win Against Proctor
ASHBURNHAM, MA -
The huskies started off slow in the first, with Kennedy Walker '25 scoring the only goal of the period to take a 1-0 lead going into the second. Goaltender Cara Kuczek '26 made her season debut for the huskies, and kept Proctor off the board in the first. The second period was a better period for the huskies, as they dominated the offensive zone. Katie Usilton '26 scored her first goal as a husky, and added another one to take a 3-0 lead halfway through the second. Kelsey baker '26 opened the scoring in the third as the huskies took a 4-0 lead. Cara Kuczek '26 continued to keep the puck out of the net, keeping the score at 4-0. Captain Izzy Prentiss '24 scored her first of the season to bring the score to 5-0. Cara Kuczek '26 recorded her first career shutout, with a final score of 5-0.
